Haul: MAC Heavenly Creatures Collection - Swatches

SAME ARTICLE IN ENGLISH CLICK DOWN BELOW:

Ciao a tutti, scusate l'assenza!

Da sinistra MSF in Star Wonder, a destra Blush minerale Ring of Saturn.

Mi aspettavo di comprare di più di questa collezione, ma di colori per pelli molto chiare come la mia ce n'erano pochi.

Alla prossima :)

Mac Fall Colour Collection: MSF Porcelain Pink, Lightscapade, Emerald Dusk, Plum Bright

Hello guys! Sorry for the lack of updates! A few weeks ago I went to Mac and I bought some things from the Mac Fall Colour Collection.

I loved this collection, I collect MSF so I was really happy to see two of them in this.

- MSF in Lightscapade (left on the picture) is a light white champagne color, with pink and lavander vening O_O It's amazing.

- MSF in Porcelain Pink (right on the pic) is a light pink with kinda of a purplish duochrome, it's pretty but not so pigmented :( You have to layer it over a pink blush.

- Pigment in Emerald Dusk: it's a dark gunmetal grey with green undertones, I love this color is so unique.

- Lipstick in Plum Bright: It's a very dark plum color. It has a glossy finish. Dark plummy colors are in trend this fall, so I thought I'd give it a shot :D

Hope you liked it!

Mac Me Over Collection Haul: Dark Diversion, Stunner, Rebel and 226 - Swatches

Hello guys! Mac has released a new collection called Mac Me Over and this is what I picked up from it:

- Mac Me Over Blush in Stunner: a very pretty pink with a hint of coral, it would work well on fair to medium skin color, because is on the sheer side.

- Mac Me Over Fluidline in Dark Diversion: a plum gel liner that's exactly like Mac Sketch eyeshadow but in a liner form. So beautiful a must have. Repromote from the Stylishly Your collection If I'm correct.

- Mac Me Over Lipstick in Rebel: a beautiful rasberry color, it looks scary in the tube, but it applies more fuschia than plum. Permanent.

- Mac Me Over 226 Brush: this is the most amazing brush ever, it is a crease brush and it is a repromote and one of the most wanted brushes from Mac, I bet this will sold out in a blink of an eye.

I hope you like the items and the swatches.

Mac Cosmetics: Semi Precious Collection Haul + Swatches

Hello guys! So yesterday I went to Mac to pick up the items I wanted from the new Semi Precious Collection. I have to say, this is one of the best collection ever made by Mac. It has all mineralize products: eyeshadows, MSF, blushes and of course lip products.

I picked up some of the stuff I thought were the best:

- Mineralize Skinfinish in Rose Quartz (It is a pretty coral color with gold, mauve and copper center. The coral side it is extremely light, but pigmented, the middle part it's a beautiful highlighter). 28€

- Mineralize Blush in Pressed Amber (this one doesn't look so good in person, but when you swatch it you can see that it's not so brown, but it's actually a beautiful browny pink, perfect as a bronzer for light light skin like mine). 24€

- Mineralize Eyeshadow in Golden Gaze (a black based gold, gorgeous and crazy pigmented, it doesn't have a lot of glitter, which is amazing and it has almost no fallouts). 22€

- Mineralize Eyeshadow in Blue Sheen (my favourite thing I got. I tried it on today and it is amazing, the most beautiful blue I've ever seen. It is black based too, but it has some peach vening and the color that comes out it is a gorgeous blue with metallic sheen). 22€

- Mineralize Eyeshadow in Smoked Ruby (red and copper color, black based too. Crazy pigmented and it has a metallic finish). 22€

- Lipstick in Musky Amethyst (you have no idea how pretty this color looks. It's kinda crazy when you see it and scary for the nude lips lovers, but it is a burgundy red with red sparkles, although you can't really see the sparkles on your lips, which I like even better. It has a frost finish, but it looks like a creamsheen). 18€

This was everything I got, I hope you liked it.

Wishlist: Mac Creme Cup lipstick

Hello girls! Today I wanted to talk to you about a lipstick that has been on my wishlist forever; Mac's Creme Cup.
It is a beautiful baby pink, it is light but on my lips looks quite dark because I have pigmented lips. It is a creamsheen, so it's not too opaque and it has a glossy finish, you don't need a lipgloss over it. I think it's a color you can wear everyday and in every occasion. Last time I went to Mac, I tried it on my lips but I don't know why I didn't buy it, maybe because it's an easily dupable color.

Price: 17.50 € in Europe.

Let me know if you have and how it is!

Mac Cosmetics: Surf Baby Haul: Gilded White Eyeliner - Swatches & Review

Hello guys!!! Two weeks ago I went to Mac to check out the new Surf Baby collection, but I wasn't so impressed with it. I really liked the Quite Cute one (I bought a lot of stuff), but this summer collection just isn't cool. The lipsticks were similar shades to the limited edition previous ones and the permanent collection has colors more beautiful than them. The eyeshadows were boring, except for a teal shade, but I hate eyeshadow in pot, I never reach for them and I don't like to depot them. The lipglasses were similar shades to the lipsticks. The blush was ok, but I can find at least 3 dupes for that color in the Mac permanent collection. The only thing that caught my attention was one of the two eyeliners. I bought the one in Gilded White; it is a beautiful white shade with gold sheen, it is the same color of Mac's Nylon eyeshadow, which I love. It's creamy and you can use it as an eyeshadow base, inner corner, browbone and on your waterline (but on the waterline it doesn't show up so pigmented, it's not a Kohl pencil).

Price: 16 € in Eu.
Rate: 4/5.

I hope it liked it.

Mac Cosmetics: Quite Cute Collection Haul - Lipsticks and Blush Swatches

Hello guys! Yesterday I went to Mac and I bought some products from the Quite Cute Collection. I was very excited about it, because it's a very cool toned collection and I have a pink undertone, so it's perfect for me. I bought all the lipsticks because the colors are just amazing and so pigmented. The blushes were ok, at first I wanted them all, but when I swatched them in the store, one wasn't pigmented at all, It didn't show up on my fair fair skintone (Miss Behave) and the other one (Giggly) was a copy of another limited edition mineralize blush I have (Hang Loose from the In the Groove collection), so I didn't pick them up, I got just Sakura.

Here's what I got:
- Quite Cute Lipstick: Pale lavander Creamsheen finish 17.50€ in EU.
- Candy Yum Yum Lipstick: Bright Neon Fuschia Matte Finish (this is my favourite! It's crazy pigmented and bright) 17.50€
- Playing Koi Lipstick: Pale Peachy Pink Satin Finish 17.50€
- Play Time Lipstick: Mid tone Violet Creamsheen Finish (lighter than the Style Curve from the Stylishly Yours Collection, less fuschia more purple) 17.50€
- Sakura Mineralize Blush: (light lavander with a burgandy fuschia heart) 23€.

I hope you liked the haul and the swatches.

See you soon

Spring/Summer 2011 Lipsticks Trend: Mac Cosmetics Jazzed Lipstick

Hello guys! This spring 2011 is all about orange and coral lipsticks and I'm going to show you some items you can purchase to stay on trend. The first post of my series is dedicated to one of my favourite lipsticks; Mac Cosmetics Jazzed.

This lipstick is limited edition (sorry :(), it came out with the In the groove collection this past fall, but I think you can still get it on ebay or at a CCO.
It is a coral/orange/pink, very unique; it has a creamsheen finish (semi opaque glossy finish), it goes on smoothly and creamy. The closest dupe to this is Cut a Caper lipstick from Mac, also limited edition (MAC Tartan Tale Collection), I really don't know a drugstore dupe for this color.
I would pair this lipstick with a light pink eyeshadow on the lid and a bright coral in the crease.

Rate: 4.5/5
Price: 18.50€ in EU.

What do you think? Do you like coral lipsticks?

Mac Cosmetics: Wonder Woman Collection - Pink Power Mineralize Skinfinish Review, Swatches

Hello guys! Today I wanted to review the new Pink Power Mineralize Skinfinish from the

Mac Wonder Woman Collection. It recently came out here in Italy, so that why I'm posting this review so late. I really love the idea of having a blush, a bronzer and an highlighter all in one compact. The bronzer is a really sheer light brown with yellow undertones, which is not a bad thing for me because I'm pretty fair (NC15) and I can easily go overboard with my bronzer. The blush is a peachy pink blush, really pretty and wearable. The highlighter is a frosty light gold color amazingly pigmented, as you can see it in the photo on my cheek.

I really like this products for an everyday waerable look, if you want something darker, this is not what you're looking for.

Rate: 4/5
Price: 37 € in EU.

Mac Cosmetics Haul: Pro Longwear Foundation NC15, Chromographic pencil in NC15/NW20, Viva Glam Gaga II

Hello guys! So a few days ago I went to Mac and I bought some goodies I've been wanting for a long time. I tried a sample of the Pro Longwear Foundation NC15 and I loved it, it is the only foundation that lasts 8 hour on me without shine on my nose or my forehead! So impressive. I'll probably do a review on it soon. Then I bought the chromographic pencil in NC15/NW20, almost impossible to find here in Italy, I use it on my waterline to open up the eyes and it lasts an insane amount of time without reapplying it. Finally the Viva Glam Gaga II has arrived here in Italy, I love it and I did a post about it yesterday:

So these were my purchases, I hope you liked them.

Mac Cosmetics: Viva Glam Gaga II - Review, Swatches

Hello Guys! Viva Glam Gaga II lipstick has finally arrived in Italy too! I had to buy it, first of all because is a good cause, infact it all goes to the AIDS foundation; the color is beautiful and it has an amplified finish, my favourite from MAC.

As I was saying, the color is a brown nude with a hint of pink, but mostly neutral undertone. It can look a bit concealery but if you put a pink lipliner under it, it will look more natural.

The amplified finish gives the most opaque finish you can get from a lipstick. It is creamy and feels very moisturizing.

I would pair it with a really dark smokey eye, definitely it isn't an everyday lipstick, at least for me, probably because I'm so pale.

You can see the lipstick and the swatches on my lips.

Price in EU: 17.50€
Rate: 4/5 (I would have given it a 5 but I think on its own it looks to much like a concealer).

Mac Cosmetics Undercurrent Eyeliner Dupe by E.L.F Cosmetics

Hello guys! Today I was going through my makeup stash and I found two eyeliner that looked exactly the same. Last Christmas Mac came out with this really popular eyeliner, which was sold out pretty fast called Undercurrent. It's a really pretty teal green with microglitters in it; it goes on smoothly and it's long lasting.
I found a pretty similar eyeliner dupe for it, and it's from E.L.F Cosmetics called Twinkle Teal. The amazing thing is that it costs $1 in the US and the Mac one costs $14.50!

The only difference I could find between the two is that the E.l.f one smudges easily, but if you put a primer underneath, you won't have a problem.

I hope that was helpful.

Love.

Mac Peacocky Collection Haul Part II: Kissable Lipcolour Woo Me - Scan-delicious - Flaunting it

Hello guys, this is the second part of my Mac Peacocky Collection Haul. I bought 3 of these new lipglosses, they are extremely different from the lipglasses and the dazzleglasses, they are crazy pigmented and they feel like lipsticks on your lips. Lipsticks in a lipgloss form. They aren't sticky at all, they have a shine to them but after a couple of hours of wearing they feel a little bit drying, so I recommed using a clear lipgloss on top of them.

Woo Me: Pretty pink based nude

Scan-delicious: Hot pink with a hint of red

Flaunting it: Dark mauve color

Rate: 4/5
Pluside: Not sticky, pigmented
Downside: a bit drying and pricey (19 € in Europe).

Mac Peacocky Collection Haul Part I: Dalliance - Unflappable - Tweet Me

Hello guys! Monday I went to Mac for the new Peacocky Collection and I bought a lot of stuff, because it is simply amazing! In this post I'm going to talk about the 3 eyeshadows I purchased:

- Dalliance: It is a Gold/Grey with cool undertones and what appears to be green reflects, so unique.
- Unflappable: It is a Dark Taupe color with purple undertones, kinda like a darker satin taupe but more purple.
- Tweet Me: It is a Peachy color with a gold sheen, similar to Melon pigment by Mac, but less metallic.

The formula of these eyeshadows is smooth and creamy. They blend really easy and they are pretty pigmented. My favourite is Dalliance because it brings such a pretty glow to your eyes that no other eyeshadow I've tried gave me.

Best Pairing:
Dalliance - I paired it with Copperplate (Grey Brown) and a dark taupe color, but I think it would be so pretty also with green eyeshadows.

Unflappable - I used Vex and Satin Taupe eyeshadow on my lid and Unflappable in the crease with Mylar as a browbone highlight.

Tweet Me - I paired it with Trax and Sketch eyeshadows they look so great together, then Nylon as highlight.

Rate: 4.5/5
Pluside: Creamy, Smooth, Easy to blend
Downside: Pricey (22 € in Europe)

See you soon with the lipglosses review.

Pretty Little Liars Series: Hanna Inspired Makeup Look

Hello guys! I want to start a series of makeup looks inspired by the beautiful Pretty Little Liars girls. If you don't know what PLL is, it is a tv shows aboutthe lives of four girls — Spencer, Hanna, Aria, and Emily — whose clique falls apart after the disappearance of their leader,
Alison.Llater, they begin receiving various messages from someone using the name "A" who threatens to expose their secrets. I love this show, I especially love the fashion and the makeup the girls wear.

I'm going to start with my favourite character from the show, Hanna.

This is the makeup she often wears in the show, I hope you like it.

Products used:

1- First apply a primer all over your eye (I used ELF Eyelid Primer) and then apply Mac Indianwood Paint Pot (bronze cream eyeshadow) on the lid.

2- With a Shader brush apply Urban Decay Suspect (Book of Shadow 3) on your lid and blend it a bit up to the crease.

3-Then with an Angled Crease Brush apply Urban Decay Smog Eyeshadow (Book of Shadow 3, Bronze Color) in the crease. Blend the two colors together.

4- Apply a Matte Creamy Highlighter Shade on your browbone (I used Sephora n°08 Universal Beige)

5- Apply a matte soft orangy/brown shade over the Smog shadow.

6- Apply a brown eyeliner on your upper and lower lashes (Urban Decay Whiskey 24/7 liner) and Smudge it with a pencil brush.

7- Apply a light gold cool toned eyeshadow in the center of your lid, over the suspect just above your pupil (Urban Decay Maui Wowie eyeshadow Book of Shadows 3).

8- Apply a Gel Black Liner on your upper lashes line and flick the end a bit (Stila Smudge Pot Liner).

9- Apply a Gold Kohl liner on your waterline (Urban Decay Eldorado 24/7 Liner) and then apply Smog Suspect and Universal Beige under your lower lashes.

10- Curl your lashes, apply mascara (Mac Zoom Fast Black Lash) and false lashes if you want (The girls on PLL always wear them)....And...You're done!

Face: As a Blush I recommend a pinky natural blush, on the lips the perfect match is Mac Nymphette Lipglass (Pink nude with gold shimmer).

I hope you liked it! See you soon with the others inspired look :D
