Spring 2011 Nail Polishes: Essence New Nail Polish in n°74 Fall For Me

Hello guys! So this is one of the items I bought recently from the Essence new spring line. It is a gorgeous baby blue pastel nail polish. As you can see in the photo, it's pretty opaque, infact that was just one coat. It goes on easy and the applicator fits perfectly into the nails. Pastel colors are must haves for spring and summer 2011 and a baby blue color is what you need. The price is so cheap, 1.99€ in Europe and I think it's even cheaper in US.

I hope you liked it.

Hello guys! A while ago I bought this Essence Silky Touch Blush in Babydoll and I'm really happy with it. It's a pinky coral color, really natural if you use a light hand with it, but it can be layered and it becomes a really pretty flushed color. It's silky smooth and really great quality for a very little price, 2.49€.

I love this line of blushes by Essence, I highly recommend it.

Essence: Lipstick 02 Sparkling Romance - Review and Swatches

Hello guys! Yestarday I bought this really pretty lipstick "02 Sparkling Romance" by Essence! It was a real bargain because it was on sale for 0.99€, usually it costs 2.49€ here in Europe. It is the old packaging, but who cares? When I first saw it, it looked to glittery and sparkling (like the name says), but due to the price, I decided to try it and I was pleasantly surprised because it's really pretty.
It is moisturizing, creamy and the glitters aren't chunky at all. It lasts quite a bit without losing its shine, so I highly recommend this product. I also have 3 other lipsticks from this line and I love them all.

Price: On sale for 0.99€, usually 2.49€ in EU.
Rate: 4/5

I hope that was helpful.

Love.

Nail polish of the week: Essence - Colour and Go in Enchanted Fairy

Hello guys! Last week I bought this nail polish by Essence and I really enjoyed it, so I thought I'd share it with you. It is called Enchanted Fairy and it is part of the Colour & Go line (permanent). It is a really pretty wearable nail polish, good for work, school and special occasions, neutral but at the same time fun. It is a baby pink with a hint of lilac and it has a satin finish to it. It lasted quite a bit, but I always put a top coat so I don't know how much it lasts on its own.

I hope you try it and if you do let me know what you think.

TAG: 30 Days Beauty Blog Challenge: Day 30 - Your favorite nail polish

I love Essence nail polishes and lately I'm in love with a polish called 02 Copper Rulez! from their Metallics Collection. It's a coppery brown with gold sparkles in it...It's really pretty and it's definitely a fall/winter color. This polish is so pigmented, infact to get the color you see in the bottle, it takes just one coat.

You can see Copper Rulez! in the center of the photo, but in person is much prettier.

What's your favourite nail polish?

Essence: Silky Touch Blush in Secret It-Girl - Swatches and Review

Today I tried this Essence blush in Secret It-Girl I bought yesterday and I really liked it.

- The color is just beautiful on my pale skin, it gives a really flattering orange flush. The color is a bit sheer, so you have to pack on the color a few time but it stays on pretty well; it isn't matte, it has a bit of shimmer but nothing overwhelming.

- The texture is smooth and it has a silky feel exactly as promised by Essence.

- The price is just amazingly cheap for this product, it costs 2.99€ in Europe. I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy the other 3 colors, you can see them here: http://www.essence.eu/it/prodotti/viso/fard/silky-touch-blush.html

Rate: 4/5

Hope you like it.

Nails Trend Fall/Winter 2010: Essence n°62 Must Have - Gunmetal Grey Colors

I love Essence nail polishes! they are cheap but for such a small price they are really great quality. A couple of weeks ago I bought this Essence Multi Dimension XXXL Shine in the color n°62 Must-Have. It's a pretty gunmetal dark grey color, perfect for fall and winter. Grey is definitely in this season, and this is one of the prettiest shades I found on the market.
The finish is metallic but there's no shimmer in it. It is pretty pigmented as you can see in the photo and that's only one coat of it.
I used an Essence Top Coat over it and it held pretty well.

What do you think about it?

Price: 1.99€ in EU.

Essence Haul: Silky Touch Blush in Secret It-Girl & Lipstick n°45

Today I came across an Essence counter and I decided to pick up some goodies. I saw the new line of silky finish blushes and I picked one of them called: Secret It-Girl. It's a light orange color and I like those type of colors on my very fair skin. This shade is not extremely pigmented but It's enough to show up on me I think. I'm going to review it as soon as I use it.

Price in EU: 2.99 €

The next thing I got is the Essence lipstick in n°45 This is me. When I first saw these lipsticks I wasn't sure if they were good, they felt a little cheap, but a friend of mine recommended them to me and I must say I'm pretty impressed with the quality.
This shade is sheerer than the other I own but it's a gorgeous color, a bright corally pink. It goes on smooth and it has a glossy finish, although I must say they are a bit drying after a couple of hours.

Price in EU: 2.49 €

I hope you liked it.

Most Worn Summer Bronzer: Essence Sun Club in 02 Sunny

I bought this product last spring and I have been using it everyday since then. I love it, I have the darkest shade (02 Sunny), even if I'm so fair, because it's not too pigmented but that's why I like it on my skintone, because you can build the color without overdoing it. I use this with the Sigma large powder brush with it, making a E shape from my forehead to my jawline.
The pan is huge, 15 g, I like it so much that I've hit pan and I never hit pan on anything because I have so much makeup.

The website says about it: "the bronzing powder for brunettes offers a touch of wonderfully fresh and natural-looking colour for darker skin types. the matt powder has a somewhat stronger shade to give already tanned skin the perfect finish."

Website: http://www.essence.eu/en/products/sun-club.html

Price: I don't remember but it was under 6 €.

Hope you liked it.

What's your favourite bronzer?

Nails Trend Fall/Winter 2010: Essence Matt Top Coat Nail Polish

The fall nails trend seem to be a matte look, so when I saw the essence matt top coat I decided to try it because I love essence and it was so cheap, only 1,99€. I tried it and it looks so funny, I don't know maybe I'm not used to have opaque nails, I'm not quite sure if I like them or not. The essence top coat it's really nice though. Have you tried other brands matte top coat?

Here's what essence website says about it: "Now it’s easy to get the ultimate matt-trend for all your nail polishes! the top coat contains special mattifying ingredients that remove gloss and shimmer from your nail polish. simply apply over the desired nail polish, leave to dry, and get sensational results!"

Let me know what you think. I'll post some photos later because my camera just broke :(

Photo above taken from: http://www.essence.eu

See you later...
