Haul: MAC Heavenly Creatures Collection - Swatches

SAME ARTICLE IN ENGLISH CLICK DOWN BELOW:

Ciao a tutti, scusate l'assenza!

Da sinistra MSF in Star Wonder, a destra Blush minerale Ring of Saturn.

Mi aspettavo di comprare di più di questa collezione, ma di colori per pelli molto chiare come la mia ce n'erano pochi.

Alla prossima :)

I contro:
- Il prezzo

Hello guys! Last week I bought a gorgeous nail polish I've been wanting since I saw the ad: Chanel in Peridot. This is the first time I spend 20 euros on a nail polish and I know it's crazy, but I honestly thought this color was so unique and I had to get it.
It is a green based gold, It kinda has a duochrome effect, It can look either gold or green. It's metallic and so shiny, It lasts almost a week, which is a record for me cause I bite my nail everytime I get the chance.

Pros:
- Beautiful color
- Lasting power

Cons:
- Price

Rating: 9/10

Love you guys!

My New Bag: Piero Guidi

Hello Guys! Today I wanted to share with you my new bag! I wanted this bag for so long and I finally got it. It's from Piero Guidi, an italian designer and it's the Magic Circus Bauletto Medio 216EP in the color Black. I love this brand, so elegant and fun at the same time, which is hard to combine. The quality of the bag is amazing, such a soft leather and all the detailing is just flawless. It is a medium size bag, you can carry it on your arm or you can buy the shoulder belt and wear it across your body.
It has such a cute pattern with circus stuff and, like all the Piero Guidi bag, it has a personalize keychain with an angel.

You can check the Piero Guidi bag at this link: http://www.pieroguidi.com

Only downside? It is a bit pricey: 195€ and 25 € for the shoulder belt.

The bag was purchased by me.

------------------

Salve ragazzi!

Make Up For Ever: New Aqua Liner n°5 Liquid Eyeliner

YOU CAN BUY THIS ON AMAZON, CLICK ON THE NAME:

Hey guys! A while ago I bought this new liquid eyeliner from the Make Up For Ever new line, It's called Aqua Liner in n°5. It is a beautiful bright light blue, with a hint of turquoise in it. It is extremely pigmented, infact you only need one layer of it, but it has a negative side; it is so waterproof that it stains your lid, ever if you apply it over an eyeshadow. It is so hard to get it off! I bet that if you don't wash your face for two days, it would still be bright.
It's pricey, about 20€ here in Europe, but the color is so unique, I've never seen something similar to it.
Pro:
- Longasting (almost too much)
- Beautiful color
- Pigmented

Cons:
- Pricey
- Hard to get off
- It stains

Hope you liked it.

E.l.f: Studio Conditioning Lip Balm Spf 15 in Mellow Melon

Hello guys! Almost two weeks ago I made an order on E.l.f (I posted the haul this morning but I was late) and I've been trying everything I got. I wanted to talk about their new lip balms, I have three of them (Mellow Melon, Peaceful Pink and Nice & Natural) and so far I really like these balms.

Mellow Melon is a corally peachy color, it has a good pigmentation and it moisturizes your lips pretty well. You can use it alone or layer it over a dry lipstick (like the ones from the E.l.f 1 dollar line). The only downside is that you have to stick your finger in it to apply it or you need a portable lip brush.

Price: 4€ in Eu.

Sleek: Blush in Rose Gold - Review & Swatches

Hello guys! Tonight I wanted to talk to you about one of my favourite blushes of all time. I won this Sleek blush thanks to one of their facebook contest, but this is my honest opinion. It's one of the most beautiful blushes I've ever tried;

the shade is in Rose Gold, it is a shimmer blush and it's a pink-peachy color with golden shimmer in it. It gives the skin a beautiful glow and it has an incredible pigmentation; it also goes on smoothly and creamy.

I think it's perfect for all skin color. I have very fair skin, so I have to be careful (too pigmentation) and I believe it would work on darker skintones too.

Price: 6€ in Eu.
Rate: 5/5

I hope you enjoyed.

Mac Cosmetics: Surf Baby Haul: Gilded White Eyeliner - Swatches & Review

Hello guys!!! Two weeks ago I went to Mac to check out the new Surf Baby collection, but I wasn't so impressed with it. I really liked the Quite Cute one (I bought a lot of stuff), but this summer collection just isn't cool. The lipsticks were similar shades to the limited edition previous ones and the permanent collection has colors more beautiful than them. The eyeshadows were boring, except for a teal shade, but I hate eyeshadow in pot, I never reach for them and I don't like to depot them. The lipglasses were similar shades to the lipsticks. The blush was ok, but I can find at least 3 dupes for that color in the Mac permanent collection. The only thing that caught my attention was one of the two eyeliners. I bought the one in Gilded White; it is a beautiful white shade with gold sheen, it is the same color of Mac's Nylon eyeshadow, which I love. It's creamy and you can use it as an eyeshadow base, inner corner, browbone and on your waterline (but on the waterline it doesn't show up so pigmented, it's not a Kohl pencil).

Price: 16 € in Eu.
Rate: 4/5.

I hope it liked it.

Catrice Infinite Matt up to 18 h Foundation n° 010 Light Beige

I bought this foundation two weeks ago and I was so excited to try it, because you don't often see drugstore matte foundation, but I must say I'm not impressed by it. It's kinda heavy for the amount of coverage it gives and It looks shiny after a couple of hours, even with a matte powder on top.

The only thing I really like is the smell, it has a flower scent. It blends easily but the color is too neutral, it looks almost ghostly, especially in photos even if it doesn’t have spf in it.

Have you tried it?

Price: 6.49€ for 30ml.

Catrice Matt Mousse Foundation n°010 Light Beige: Swatches and Review

Hello guys! I'm here today to let you know what I think about the Catrice Matt Mousse Foundation that I've been using for the past two weeks. My colour is n° 010 Light Beige.
I like this product, I'm not in love with it though. It is a mousse and the first time I've used it, I applied it with a flat buki brush and it looked pretty heavy and cakey on my skin; so I tried a duo fibre brush and It looks very natural with that. The color seems dark but once you blend it out it looks like the color of your skin (I think it reacts with the warmth of your skin). It is smooth and It lasts quite a bit for a mousse (up to 5 hours with no touch ups with powder). The coverage is good but I don’t usually have breakouts or particular redness and spots. The thing I like the most about this foundation is that it’s so quick to apply, when you are in a hurry is so perfect, it blends effortlessly.

Price: 4.99€ for 16g.

Spring/Summer 2011 Lipsticks Trend: Mac Cosmetics Jazzed Lipstick

Hello guys! This spring 2011 is all about orange and coral lipsticks and I'm going to show you some items you can purchase to stay on trend. The first post of my series is dedicated to one of my favourite lipsticks; Mac Cosmetics Jazzed.

This lipstick is limited edition (sorry :(), it came out with the In the groove collection this past fall, but I think you can still get it on ebay or at a CCO.
It is a coral/orange/pink, very unique; it has a creamsheen finish (semi opaque glossy finish), it goes on smoothly and creamy. The closest dupe to this is Cut a Caper lipstick from Mac, also limited edition (MAC Tartan Tale Collection), I really don't know a drugstore dupe for this color.
I would pair this lipstick with a light pink eyeshadow on the lid and a bright coral in the crease.

Price: 18.50€ in EU.

What do you think? Do you like coral lipsticks?

Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupté n°1 Nude Beige - Review, Swatches

Hello guys! Today I wanted to share with you the best lipstick I've ever tried: YSL Rouge Volupté n°1 in Nude Beige. It is a creamy extremely moisturizing lipstick that feels like butter on your lips. It is an amazing color, perfect for my pink undertone skin, although its name is Nude beige, it isn't beige at all. It's a nude pink, very soft and wearable.

I really like this lipstick and it smells like a mixture of melon and watermelon. The only downside is that it's pricey, 24.50€ in Europe and I think it is even more expensive in the US (34 dollars). The packaging is so beautiful and luxurious, it is gold and it has the lipstick color in the middle.

Mac Cosmetics: Wonder Woman Collection - Pink Power Mineralize Skinfinish Review, Swatches

Hello guys! Today I wanted to review the new Pink Power Mineralize Skinfinish from the

Mac Wonder Woman Collection. It recently came out here in Italy, so that why I'm posting this review so late. I really love the idea of having a blush, a bronzer and an highlighter all in one compact. The bronzer is a really sheer light brown with yellow undertones, which is not a bad thing for me because I'm pretty fair (NC15) and I can easily go overboard with my bronzer. The blush is a peachy pink blush, really pretty and wearable. The highlighter is a frosty light gold color amazingly pigmented, as you can see it in the photo on my cheek.

I really like this products for an everyday waerable look, if you want something darker, this is not what you're looking for.

Price: 37 € in EU.

Sleek Palette in Oh So Special - Review, Swatches

Hello guys! Last week I went to Sephora and I found a new Sleek Oh So Special palette! I love these palettes, as you already know, they are mineral based eyeshadows with a great color pay off, considering they are so affordable.

The shades in this palette are perfect for spring time: corals, pinks, browns and also a grey and a black, if you want to do a smokey eye.
I love the fact that it has a combination of matte and shimmer shades, which is rare to find in palettes, especially low price range ones.

As you can see from the swatches, the pigmentation is great and that was only one layer. The texture is smooth and easy to blend. Some of the shades, especially the shimmery ones are a little bit chalky, but nothing overwhelming. The palette has a big mirror, which allow you to do your makeup if you are in a hurry and you don't have your beauty mirror with you; it also has a double sponge applicator, which is very well made and I use it to do the lower lashline shadow.

Rate: 5/5
Price: 9.90€ at Sephora in EU.

I hope you enjoyed my review and soon I'm going to post makeup looks using this palette.

Mac Cosmetics: Viva Glam Gaga II - Review, Swatches

Hello Guys! Viva Glam Gaga II lipstick has finally arrived in Italy too! I had to buy it, first of all because is a good cause, infact it all goes to the AIDS foundation; the color is beautiful and it has an amplified finish, my favourite from MAC.

As I was saying, the color is a brown nude with a hint of pink, but mostly neutral undertone. It can look a bit concealery but if you put a pink lipliner under it, it will look more natural.

The amplified finish gives the most opaque finish you can get from a lipstick. It is creamy and feels very moisturizing.

I would pair it with a really dark smokey eye, definitely it isn't an everyday lipstick, at least for me, probably because I'm so pale.

You can see the lipstick and the swatches on my lips.

Price in EU: 17.50€
Rate: 4/5 (I would have given it a 5 but I think on its own it looks to much like a concealer).

Nail polish of the week: Catrice - C04 Walk in the Woods

Hello guys! This week I tried my new Catrice nail polish in Walk in the Woods. It is a beautiful nude/taupe/beige color, perfect for every occasion.

The nail polish took about two coats to get really opaque, it lasts a long time with my OPI top coat, I always use a top coat to get a long lasting and shiny finish.

This particular nail polish is limited edition from the Catrice Floralista Collection.

Essence Haul: Silky Touch Blush in Babydoll

Hello guys! A while ago I bought this Essence Silky Touch Blush in Babydoll and I'm really happy with it. It's a pinky coral color, really natural if you use a light hand with it, but it can be layered and it becomes a really pretty flushed color. It's silky smooth and really great quality for a very little price, 2.49€.

I love this line of blushes by Essence, I highly recommend it.
