Lush - I love Juicy: Best Shampoo for Oily Hair

According to me the best shampoo ever for oily hair is Lush I love Juicy. This shampoo leaves my hair oil free for at least 3 days (which is a record for me) and it gives shine and light to my hair. Since I started using it, I have healtly and gorgeous looking hair and everybody notices.

The ingredients are: fresh pineapple, papaya, kiwi and mango juices. Remember that Lush products are all handmade with fresh ingredients.

The cleansing power of these juices leaves hair clean, healthy and shiny.

I also love the scent, It smells like tropical juice.

Check this product out if you have oily hair.

TAG: 30 Days Beauty Blog Challenge: Day 2 - Your favorite bag that you own

Hello everyone, today is day 2 of my blog challenge. The question is: Your favorite bag that you own.

My favorite bag is a Beverly Hills Polo Club Handbag, I just love it so much. It is my only designer bag, I bought it because I fell in love with it the moment I saw it. It's a black handbag with brown detailing and light brown/orange handles. It can be carried on the arm or you can wear it as an across body bag. The interiors are just amazing, they are made of light brown satin with gold zippers.

What do you think about it and what's your favorite bag?

Burberry - Timepieces Fall Winter 2010 Watch

I was reading as usual Vanity Fair Italy and I saw a add that caught my eye. It was a Burberry watch add from the new Fall/Winter Collection 2010 Time pieces. It's an oversize man style watch with the signature stripes pattern. It's grey and black and really pretty. It's classic but fun at the same time. A must have.

What do you think about it?

Looks I love #4: Taylor Swift on the Late Show with David Letterman

I love Taylor Swift, her elegance is just undeniable. The gold/yellow tone of this dress brings out the golden of her gorgeous hair and the blue of her eyes. I love the makeup she wears all the time, the winged black eyeliner with neutral tone eyeshadows and the red lip, so old hollywood and surely glamorous.
The only thing I don't quite like about this outfit is the color of the shoes, I would have paired this dress with black pumps, but this is just my taste.

What do you think about this outfit?

Miley Cyrus goes Rock Mafia: Hit or Miss?

What do you think about Miley's new style? I heard she was criticized a lot after her last video. I noticed that her style is changed. She's becoming like a Disney version of Taylor Momsen. A rock chick too young to act like that and definitely fake. Don't get me wrong, I love Miley. I just love her old self.
This outfit is a big MISS for me. She's almost naked and doesn't she feel kinda heavy with all the different kinds of jellewry she has on? I kinda like the boots and the bag, but I really hate the rest.

What do you think about Miley's new style and new behaviour?

Designer Bags I love

I want a designer bag so bad, but I can't justify such a big splurge of money on a bag. Do you have any designer bags?I have a Beverly Hills Polo Club one that I really love. I'm not a person who can't live without designer things, I think that fashion is not about the price you pay the clothes or the accessories, it's about your sense of style and about finding fashionable things without spending a fortune to create a style that isn't there. Although I really like these bags...Which one do you think it's prettiest?

-Mulberry Alexa Bag
-Louis Vuitton Tivoli PM
-Alexander Wang ROCCO MINI DUFFLE - LEATHER/BLACK

Most Worn Summer Concealer: Maybelline NY Affinitone

Hello guys! I want to talk about my favourite concealer, Maybelline's Affinitone Corrector. It's a liquid concealer in a plastic tube, who has a doe foot applicator. It's creamy, It doesn't crease on me and it doesn't leave you with a caky look. I use it under my eyes, around my nose, above my lips and under my chin, then I put over it my MSF in Medium Plus by Mac and I'm good too go. I don't need a foundation after this routine with my concealer and my powder.
I've never seen a review on this amazing Maybelline product and I wanted to give it the credit it deserves. This is my second tube, It says it all...I never run out of makeup products.

E.l.f Studio Blush in Pink Passion - Review & Swatches

Hello guys! Today I want to talk about a blush I really like: E.l.f Studio Blush in Pink Passion.

I have almost all the studio blushes from elf and this particular one is in my top favourites. It's a bright bright pink, extremely pigmented. If you're fair skin like me, you should use a light hand with it or it'll be too bright. It

goes on smoothly and it blends amazingly. It lasts a long time too.

Above you can see the effect it gives to my cheek, I like it.
I pair it with pink eyelooks or neutral ones.

Most Worn Summer Highlighter: Mac Cosmetics Mineralize Skinfinish in By Candlelight

I bought this MSF when the In The Groove Collection came out, last summer, and I really like it. I used it every single day this summer and I'm using it right now as well.

MSF in By Candlelight

It's a pretty champagne pink color, It can be use as a blush for fair skin but I use it as highlighter because apparently I'm not fair enough to use it as a blush on its own. I use it also on top of matte blushes and they instantly become shimmer blushes.

The shimmer it gives it's not too much, although if you don't like that shiny effect, you should stay away from this MSF too.

Price: 28€ in Europe 26$ in US.

See you later.

Looks I love #3: Juliette Sharp from Gossip Girl (aka Katie Cassidy)

I don't know if it's just me or if there's anybody else who loves this girl. Even though her character is bad, I love her attitude and especially her sense of style.
The outfits she wears are always classy, she wears mostly neutral colors but she plays with accessories, for example the red and the blue bags she carries all the time. I adore her blazers with padded shoulders, so in, and her incredible high heels!

The evening gown is so beautiful and flowy. The blue and the grey are amazing together...I have nothing but great things to say about these looks.

A+

Most Worn Summer Bronzer: Essence Sun Club in 02 Sunny

I bought this product last spring and I have been using it everyday since then. I love it, I have the darkest shade (02 Sunny), even if I'm so fair, because it's not too pigmented but that's why I like it on my skintone, because you can build the color without overdoing it. I use this with the Sigma large powder brush with it, making a E shape from my forehead to my jawline.
The pan is huge, 15 g, I like it so much that I've hit pan and I never hit pan on anything because I have so much makeup.

The website says about it: "the bronzing powder for brunettes offers a touch of wonderfully fresh and natural-looking colour for darker skin types. the matt powder has a somewhat stronger shade to give already tanned skin the perfect finish."

Price: I don't remember but it was under 6 €.

Most Worn Summer Foundation: Mac Mineralize Skinfinish in Medium Plus

Hello guys, so I decided to do a series of posts about most worn makeup products in the summertime.
I wanna start with the most worn foundation. I have combination skin, I get oily on the T zone, so in the summertime I don't use foundation. This spring I went to Mac and I bought for the first time the Mineralize Skinfinish in Medium Plus. It has been almost 4 months and I used it everyday, I'm so pleased with it. It gives a satin finish to the skin and it's so natural, it lasts a lot of time...4 months and I don't even hit pan yet! The price is justified for the quality and the lasting.

Sigma Makeup: New Hot Pink Premium Travel Kit

Have you tried the new sigma premium travel set? I've heard wonders about it. I have the basic sigma pink set full size with the brush roll and I really love it. Yes some brushes shed a little bit (especially the big face ones), but for the price they are really good brushes. I can't compare them with the Mac ones because I don't have any, certainly if the pricing is so different there is a difference. I was thinking to get the upcoming new travel size brush set by Mac, it'll be realesed with the "A tartan tale" collection on november 1st...What do you suggest me to do? Buy the Sigma or the Mac one?

Sleek New Shimmer Blush in Sunrise

I won the three new shimmer blushes on Facebook and I love them!!! I only have 4 products from Sleek (the three shimmer blushes: Sunrise, Rose Gold, Pomegranate, and the eyeshadow Storm palette), I can honestly say that for the price, they are amazing. The pigmentation of this blush is incredible, the shimmer it's not too heavy on the cheeks and the color is so beautiful. In the pan Sunrise looks brownish, like a bronzer, but on the cheeks is a beautiful rose color and it gives a natural almost coral flush.

L'Oréal Casting Crème Gloss in Nougatine

This is the perfect hair dye!!! I'm 23 but I have some white hair and I want a dye that covers them completely and this is amazing!
I love the color Nougatine (but I tried other colors and they're beautiful as well), it's like the third time in a row that I use it, It gives the hair the cover you need and at the same time, it gives a beautiful shiny look with red undertones, at least on me. I have light brown hair and with this dye it's like having effortless highlights!

You should try it, It's so easy to use, you can do it yourself without spending money on a hairstylist.

Hope that was helpful.

Looks I love #2: Classy Hilary Duff

I love this Hilary look. Maybe my readers have noticed that I like classy looks.

-Shiny, retrò kind of man shoes are really in this fall and I love that they have no strings.
-The mini tweed skirt it's classy vintage but modern at the same time.
-The cardigan it's preppy and it gives a touch of casualty to the look.

I would have paired a shiny black bag with this outfit, but It's pretty cute anyway.

Nails Trend Fall/Winter 2010: Essence Matt Top Coat Nail Polish

The fall nails trend seem to be a matte look, so when I saw the essence matt top coat I decided to try it because I love essence and it was so cheap, only 1,99€. I tried it and it looks so funny, I don't know maybe I'm not used to have opaque nails, I'm not quite sure if I like them or not. The essence top coat it's really nice though. Have you tried other brands matte top coat?

Here's what essence website says about it: "Now it’s easy to get the ultimate matt-trend for all your nail polishes! the top coat contains special mattifying ingredients that remove gloss and shimmer from your nail polish. simply apply over the desired nail polish, leave to dry, and get sensational results!"

Let me know what you think. I'll post some photos later because my camera just broke :(

MAC Venomous Villains - My Dark Magic Mineralize Eyeshadow Duo - Makeup Look

For this look I used the new mineralize eyeshadow from the Venomous Villains Collection, My Dark Magic.

Lid: I used a white base (Nyx Jumbo pencil in Milk) all over the lid area and on top I used my dark magic eyeshadow wet, first the purple part and then the pink one. I blended it up into the crease a little bit.

Crease: I used Stars n' Rockets Mac eyeshadow (it is a light pink purple with blue undertones). Blend My dark magic with this color.

Browbone: I used Mylar eyeshadow from Mac. I wanted a matte creamy color, because we have too much shimmer already going on. Put mylar also in the inner corner of your eyes.

Waterline: Use a pink pencil on your waterline. I used Benefit Eyebright pencil.

Finish the look with lots of mascara and you're done and gorgeous!

Hope you like this. See you soon.

MAC Venomous Villains - Haul Part 2 - Photos & Reviews

This is the second part of my Mac Venomous Villains haul. Here's the other things I got.

From Left to Right:

- Innocence, Beware! Lipstick: Light yellow pink. It's a Nude with pink undertone. It doesn't make you look like you're dead. One of my favourite nude of all time. It applies smoothly and It's so moisturizing. It's a creamsheen finish.

- Bite of an Apple Blush: Soft coral pink. It's a matte finish, it's opaque and such a pretty natural looking flush color. Great with wearable everyday looks.

- Formidable! Nail Polish: Teal green with pink multi-changing pearl. It's gorgeaous but It's pretty sheer. Needs at least two coats to show up and It's better If you put an opaque color under it.

- Truth & Light Sheer Powder: Shimmer that reflects silver and pink. I'm not sure yet what is its use, I use it on top of blushes to give them a little bit of shimmer. It has a cooling effect which is pretty nice.

Hope you like the reviews. See you soon.

MAC Venomous Villains - Haul Part 1 - Photos & Reviews

I love this Mac Collection...I was shocked that most of the stuff was already sold out after a couple of hours here in Italy. Fortunately I bought some products that I wanted to show you and review for you.

From left to right:
- Mean & Green Nail Polish: Purple with teal multi-changing pearl. Needs at least two coat to show up, but It is such a pretty color.

- Resort Life Lipgelee: Off white beige with pink pearl. It is amazingly pretty but It's a little bit sticky and leaves glitter everywhere.

- Hot House Lipglass: Deep raspberry with pink blue and silver pearl. This is my favourite. It's opaque, goes on smoothly and sparkles like no other.

- Devilishly Stylish Lipglass: Light nude with gold pearl. It's great over any Mac nude lipsticks like: Creme de nude, Myth or Shy girl. It's pretty sheer on its own.

- My Dark Magic Mineralize Eyeshadow Duo: Deep pink with pink pearl / Deep plum with purple pearl. It is so pretty and it shows up best wet with a black base on the lid. No Glitters fall out if you use it wet.

- Briar Rose Beauty Powder: Soft violet pink with pearl. It's a satin to me. So beautiful, it gives a natural pink flush and It's not sheer at all like all Mac beauty powders.

I hope this was helpful...Soon I'll post the rest of the collection I own.
